A Space to Heal, a Space to Growth
Welcome, and thank you for visiting Your Space, Your Time Counselling. My name is Patricia Campbell-Barnes and I am a counsellor providing both short- and long-term therapy to adult individuals in North London & online.
I am passionate about supporting people as they navigate life’s challenges and find their own way forward. I began my work with children, creating a space where they could express themselves, build confidence, and feel heard. Over time, this expanded to working with families and supporting individuals through counselling, encouraging healthier relationships and positive change.
While we cannot change the past, we can build or rebuild confidence, develop greater self-awareness, and discover new ways to move forward. I provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, working towards meaningful and lasting change.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and hold an honours degree in counselling. Whatever has brought you here, I will support you in moving towards feeling understood, stronger, and more in control of your life.

Life can feel overwhelming or confusing at times. You may find yourself overthinking, doubting yourself, or stuck in patterns that don’t feel right. You don’t have to face this alone.
I offer a space where you can speak openly, be yourself, and feel truly heard without judgement. By listening with care and understanding, I support you in making sense of your experiences and finding a way forward.

While my foundation is person-centred therapy, I also draw gently from other approaches when it feels helpful. This can give us new perspectives, insights, and ways to build emotional strength and a stronger sense of self.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work in line with their ethical framework.
People come to counselling for a wide range of reasons. Here are some of the more common difficulties that can be explored and worked through in therapy:

I work from North London, Middlesex, and see clients from across the surrounding areas. I will provide full location details when we arrange our counselling sessions.
In addition to face-to-face therapy, I also offer telephone counselling and online sessions for clients in the wider area and beyond via Zoom.
Contact me to find out more about how online therapy works.
Each session lasts 50 minutes and is usually scheduled on a weekly basis. The standard fee is £60 per session.
I offer a sliding scale for students and those on a low wage — please get in touch to discuss what works for you.
Before starting regular sessions, we begin with an initial assessment, which may take up to an hour. This helps us get to know each other, understand your needs, and plan the best way forward.
Cancellations & Payments
Cancellations need to be made at least 48 hours before your session. Sessions cancelled after this may be charged in full.
Payments should be made at least 24 hours before your session and can be made via bank transfer or PayPal.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
You can also call me on 07903773837 if you would prefer to leave a message or speak to me first. I am happy to discuss any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment.
All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services
